Housewright Calc

Housewright Calc is built to work entirely on your device. Our privacy policy is short because there is almost nothing to tell.
What we collect
The app collects nothing. Housewright Calc has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and makes no network connections of its own. The only traffic it causes is Apple's, for the one-time purchase, and a link you tap (such as this policy) opens in your browser. Your calculations, saved history, and settings live only on your device (and your own device backups, if you use iCloud or iTunes backup).
Purchases
The one-time Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us aggregate sales numbers only — never your identity. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID by Apple, which is what lets you restore it on any of your devices.
Cut sheets and sharing
When you export a cut-sheet PDF or share a calculation, the file goes only where you send it, using the standard iOS share sheet. We never receive a copy.
This website's update list
This website has an optional sign-up for update emails. The app does not use it and never sends anything to it. If you type your email address into the sign-up and press Put me on the list, your browser sends that address, and the page you signed up from (home, Calc, Desktop or Companion), to our own server at api.constructpro.app. That web address differs from housewright.app, but the server is ours, it is not part of the Calc app, and the connection passes through Cloudflare. The server stores the address, the page, the date, and a place-in-line number and referral code it assigns, and it may send you one confirmation email. We use the address only to write to you when a Housewright product ships. To be removed, or to have your address deleted, email us at the address below and we will do it by hand. The website has no cookies and no trackers; it keeps your Field mode choice in your own browser and nowhere else.
Data we hold about you
From the app, none: the app has no server of its own. If you delete the app, everything it stored is gone (except your own backups). The only thing we can hold about you is an email address you chose to give the website's sign-up, as described above.
Children
Housewright Calc does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future version ever collects anything (for example, optional crash reporting), we will update this policy first and the app will ask you before enabling it.
